Home / Counselors
Students ask whether AI will take the job they want. This site answers one task at a time, with sources, and without predicting the future. Everything is free, needs no sign up and works on school devices.
A 20 minute class activity
- Each student looks up a job they're curious about with the search on the home page.
- They write down the two biggest tasks on its time card and how each is labeled.
- They pick a second job and put the two side by side in compare.
- Discuss: which tasks need a person in the room? What does "no evidence yet" mean, and what doesn't it mean?
Jobs with less observed AI use, by training
- High school or less
- Up to an associate's degree or certificate
- Up to a bachelor's degree
- Jobs without a degree
For students thinking about a change
Every job's "What can I switch to?" section lists jobs with similar skills, the skills they share, and what to build up. Pay where you live is on each state page.
What to tell students about the numbers
The minutes show time on tasks where AI or robots have been seen in real use somewhere. They don't measure what any one worker does, and they don't say a job will disappear. Pay and outlook come from BLS. The full method is on how we keep time.
